We’re Open!

Flatiron Wines & Spirits Storefront

We are pleased to announce that on May 18th, after literally years of careful planning, design and construction, we finally opened for business!

You can read all about Flatiron Wines’ mission at our About Us page. The short version is this: 1500+ wines that showcase the world’s great terroirs and traditions, hundreds of natural, organic and biodynamic wines, 200+ artisanal spirits, passionate staff providing attentive service, and very fair prices, all in the heart of Manhattan’s beautiful Flatiron district! Dr. Vino and the New York Times have both written up the shop, and we think they got it exactly right.

You will see a wider selection at our shop than just about anywhere for wines from some of our favorite regions, like Burgundy, Beaujolais, the Loire Valley, the Rhone Valley, Piedmont, Tuscany, Sicily, Mosel, California and Champagne.

The good news is that you will also be able to taste a lot of our selections for free. In addition to informal tastings that we will have just about every evening, we will also feature special tastings from Friday to Sunday every week. Our Friday tasting, from 5 pm to 8 pm, will feature Champagne or other sparkling wines. Sunday Spirits, from 4 pm to 7 pm, will showcase our artisanal spirits. Our main tasting event will be on Saturdays from 2 pm to 5 pm – convenient to combine with shopping at the Green Market – when we will feature a special theme, like the wines of a particular producer or region. Our tasting schedule is on the home page of our web site.

So please come on by and visit for a taste of wine and to see what we have to offer! Of course, you can also browse our selections and shop on this web site, which we plan to frequently update with articles and offerings that you might find of interest. You should also sign up for our newsletter on the front page to make sure you find out about new releases and pre-sale offerings – we expect that a lot of our best products will be sold out before they even get on the shelf!
